SongStarz - Tried and Tested since 2016!
SongStarz musicals are based on the series of 15 books, multiple companion books, songs, music and related media centering around a television competition of the same name. SongStarz - The Musical was adapted for a musical for schools in 2016 following academic research in how best to adapt books into musicals to meet needs of modern shools.

Launched in 2016 following academic research at Loughborough University into what secondary schools need to make their musical a successful experience for all involved.
In the 'SongStarz - Audition Show' schools are provided with backing tracks and songwriting hints and tips for students to write and perform their own songs within the SongStarz story.
SongStarz Beginnings - The Musical is a fully scripted 1 act 'short' musical, adapted from the book by the same name, the first in the SongStarz series Beginnings. Fans of Miss Bruce and The Professor will be pleased to see them make an appearance.
SongStarz - The Musical is a fully scripted 2 act musical which adapts the first five books in the SongStarz series.
All musicals are adaptable to suit cast or resources.

Exclusive SongStarz TV brings our offline content online in true 'on demand' style and will be accessible by any internet enabled device, providing exclusive online access to the Karaoke Videos, script and lead sheets already available, Clips from the SongStarz Beginnings audio book, 'Interviews' with the Acts, Judges, and real life 'Arts Inspirations', backstage gossip, songwriting and creative exercises, and much more - all to enhance the SongStarz experience.

Full Arts Award support resources and packs are included free with the SongStarz musical to support achievement of Bronze and Silver Arts Awards, created by our resident Arts Award Adviser.
You can licence SongStarz musicals for FREE by pledging ticket sales to charity. We'll send you all the details when we send you a review script, plus details of how you can enter your school in the exclusive SongStarz competition. Teachers and Students, we salute you!
Opportunities at SongStarz
Although we aren't currently recruiting for full time staff, from 2018 we have provided successful placements to University Students who have had a lot of fun, added value to us and to their CV, and gone on to great things. We tailor placements according to the skills and aspirations of the student concerned; for example direct marketing to schools, digital storytelling (see below), contribution to educational materials, design and PR.
