F.J.Lily Author Talks
SongStarz is a series of books, songs, musicals for schools and related media which centre on the adventures of Issy, Lola and Cass as they take part in the SongStarz television competition.
The series was created by F.J.Lily, a.k.a Fiona Lily who is currently waiving author talk fees in return for donations to charity.
Who are the SongStarz Author Talks for?
The talks are for community groups, writing groups, friendship groups or any other group who may be interested in the inspiration and creative process of the SongStarz books, songs and musicals and who want to donate to a good cause.
What Are the Author Talks about?
Author talks will touch on the challenges and 'best bits' of creating SongStarz and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions about what's gone into creating the SongStarz World. Talks can be tailored to include readings, focus more on writing or songwriting etc, depending on the group.
How Long Will The Author Talks Last?
Talks will last approximately 45 minutes
Is there a limit to Attendees?
Talks will be 'virtual' but we'd ask to keep groups sizes to less than 20 attendees to enable questions to be asked and answered in the time.
How much are the Author Talks?
F.J.Lily is currently waiving talk fees in return for a minimum donation of £100 per talk. All donations will go straight to the charity concerned. If you have 20 attendees, thats £5 per person, or at 10 attendees it's £10 per person, pretty good value for a unique insight into the SongStarz creative and development process and of course you can donate more if you wish
