SongStarz Beginnings - The Musical Fundraiser

SongStarz is a series of books, songs, musicals for schools and related media, created by F.J.Lily, a.k.a Fiona Lily, which centres on the adventures of Issy, Lola and Cass as they take part in the SongStarz television competition. SongStarz Beginnings is the first book in the series. SongStarz Beginnings - The Musical, is an adaptation of that book for performance in schools.

What's the Deal?

It's Simple. For performances of SongStarz Beginnings - The Musical in 2022, F.J.Lily, SongStarz, and Corimis are waiving the performance licence fee (normally £300) for Christmas 2022 performances in return for ticket sales of your performances being donated to the SongStarz DEC Fundraiser for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal (we'll send you the link nearer the time - donations will go straight to DEC via the SongStarz JustGiving page). This means that not only is your school getting a great musical, backed by a full resource pack (digital backdrops/backing tracks etc) and online portal with scene by scene script and karaoke videos to help your students learn their parts, you're also raising money for a truly worthy cause.

Sounds great, how do we get started?

We'll be sending out further info in June 2022. We're only sending out further information to registered school email addresses so please make sure that's what you use to register your interest.

What's the Catch?

No catch, we simply ask you to pledge all ticket sales from your 2022 Christmas performance to SongStarz DEC Fundraiser - we'll send you the link with your packs in July. All materials are of course copyright protected and SongStarz is a Trade Mark, so legally you'll need to respect that in the same way you do any other musical you stage.
